A New Beginning (September 2014)

Logan came over promptly and leaned over Natalya’s shoulder. He looked to what Natalya held and then at the large diamond that she held next to the ring. His eyebrows drew up at the size of it and he had to admit though Natalya’s fingers were well calloused, they did look delicate though he suspected only because she looked lithe and well proportioned akin to what a model looks like. She had more muscle than the typical model. Significantly more now that she did not have to work in such capacities as that any longer. Now she was more of a killing machine akin to what he was just in a female’s shape. A very beautiful female, his female and soon to be his wife.

“I think that is an excellent choice,” he said softly then kissed her cheek and straightened. He was surprised that she did not look around more. He guessed she was the kind of person that when she found something she liked, that was that. The same was for him. He rarely even looked at a menu anymore. Most places he knew what he wanted so they went to that place where he knew he could get what he wanted. He didn’t understand someone who needed to look at a menu every time. A special maybe but not a menu unless it had changed.

Danielle and Emily did convince Natalya to look around a little more just to be sure it was what she wanted. She glanced at the other rings, but did not like anything as much as she liked that ring. She was only going to get married once so she decided to get what she really wanted and it was that ring with the 4 carat diamond. Once that was settled Natalya and Logan had to choose wedding bands. For Natalya, they suggested a band that matched the band on her ring. It was Titanium with smaller diamonds and seamlessly blended in with her ring. With that picked out she looked at Logan.

"What would you like for your ring?"

Logan could not recall ever wearing a ring in his life. He wasn’t certain he cared for the prospect but he wanted the world to know that he had found someone and he had made his decision. “I’d like a larger, thicker version of what you picked,” He said plainly as he turned toward them. It didn’t matter what she picked. Only that his ring resembled hers. Before this had all ended though and since they were here…

“Ok, now that that is settled, she needs a necklace and earrings to go with a wedding dress to compliment her rings,” he said not looking at them. He was grinning, loving getting the better of Natalya. This was going to cost a small fortune but getting under her skin, making her go through the motions here and now was what he wanted and he couldn’t care a whit on the price.

Danielle looked at Natalya and grinned. “Well, we have a wide selection in similar settings,” she said and Emily moved to begin setting up a showing for them. ‘Oh, I’m going to pay for today alright. I’m going to pay big!’ he thought and his grin never slipped at all.

Danielle and Emily picked out a thicker Titanium band for Logan. Natalya was not happy about the earrings and necklace Logan also wanted her to get but if he wanted to pay for this she was going to make him pay. She could see him grinning out of the corner of her eye and she asked to see something more expensive.

Finally, with everything picked out and paid for they finally left. They had received a discount due to who they were and the fact that Tony and Isabella were such good customers but it was still all expensive. The engagement ring would be reset with the new diamond and resized and ready to be picked up in about a week. They went out for lunch and then headed back to the Tower. Isabella was there with Tony and they asked about the ring. Isabella was excited to see it in person.

“Tony and I took the liberty of drafting up a press release about your engagement for you both to look over. It’s better for us to get it out now versus someone finding out and beating us to it.”
