Elyse didn’t consider Spock’s words as harsh or unfeeling. He was simply starting a fact and reminding her of what it means to be a starship captain. She heard him leave and she stood there for a moment before she turned and left the holodeck. She went immediately to sickbay where she knew Leonard would be. She found him in his office. She didn’t even give him a moment to speak to her. She just stepped up to him and threw her arms around his neck and kissed him...deeply.
