The Beginnings of a Team (August 1997)

Tony still didn't know how he felt even when he was seeing the little...thing on the screen. The resolution was horrible. That and he wasn't certain he really wanted children. 'Wasn't Isabella taking birth control?' Despite his negative thoughts he shifted his hand to take Isabella's. That and he smiled. Regardless of how he felt, Isabella's feelings came though fairly quickly.

"How soon before we can know the sex?" Tony asked.

Dr. White pressed a button on the keyboard and a picture began to print out. “We won’t know the sex until around her 16th to 20th week of pregnancy. I’d say she’s about 6 weeks in right now. You should wait until your third month before telling anyone about the pregnancy. Miscarriages are more common in the first trimester.”

She handed Isabella some pamphlets and suggested a few books for her to get. She then went over some of the do’s and dont’s she needed to be following.

Tony was decidedly quiet in the car. Happy drove them in the new Bentley and Tony looked out the window. He had serious doubts about what kind of father he would be. Secretly he hoped it would be a girl. He had a feeling if it was a boy that there would be a repeat of the past with him and his father. He spent alot of time in his lab and alot of time doing other things. He really didn't want things to change but it was obvious to him that Isabella wanted this. He did hold her hand though.
