A Rough Day At School (April 2002)

Isabella heard the knock at the door and she knew it wasn't Tony. Tony would have just walked in. She sighed when she saw Theo. She could see the guilt in his eyes. His words and the tears she saw in his eyes broke her heart. She got up and walked over and enveloped him into her arms. She hugged him for a few long moments before pulling back and brushing back the hair from his eyes.

"Your father and I just fight sometimes. That's just apart of life and marriage. We'll work it work."

Theo cried for a time in his mother’s arms. He had needed it and he felt that she needed it too. Where Serena was more logical in the way she viewed the world, Theo felt emotion more than logic. He and Isabella were closer than he and Tony and he and his mother had a greater understanding between them. They had a good talk about what was really happening and Theo did not want to leave school or the few friends he had managed to make.

Isabella also found out that there was a girl named Jennifer Holiday that Theo really liked and he felt...knew, she liked him as well. They were only in the sixth grade of course but this was the first time he had ever talked to his mother about a girl.

That night Tony was in bed and he had picked up a technical periodical left by Pepper Potts and was reading it when Isabella came into the room. Tony didn’t sleep much at all so it would be no surprise to Isabella that he was awake when she came into their room. He watched her as she moved past the bed to the bathroom.

Isabella was glad to have the opportunity to talk to Theo. She hated thinking that he was angry at her. They talked for well over an hour and Isabella even learned about the girl that Theo liked at school. It made her happy to know that he knew he could talk to her about these things.

As it grew late she sent him to bed. She worked for a while longer before finally heading back to the bedroom she and Tony shared. She saw him in bed as she walked in, but he wasn't asleep. She barely glanced at him as she walked to the bathroom. Isabella was certainly older than when she and Tony first met, but she was no less beautiful and she took good care of herself, that included a specific beauty and skincare routine. Tony would hear the water running as she began to remove her makeup and wash her face.

Tony knew full well that Isabella didn’t like it when they fought. The world counted on them and they counted on one another. There was no divorce or separation for them. They were friends, close friends, lovers, confidants, and man and wife. Tony got out of bed as he heard Isabella in the bathroom. She was likely washing off her makeup. Something she did every night. He knew she saw him in the mirror as he came in. But he knew she’d likely finish. He came up behind her. She was in her bra and panties. After she washed she changed into either a nightgown, t-shirt and shorts or just a camisole. When she toweled off her face and looked at him in the mirror he stepped up to her and smelled her hair. She felt him up against her butt as his hands moved around to her hips. It was obvious what he wanted. And he leaned down and kissed the back of her neck as his hands moved to her breasts.

Tony didn't like fighting with Isabella. He would much rather make love to her which was what was going to happen unless she stopped him. And even then maybe they still would. He knew he had that effect on her, sometimes. When she didn’t pull away or push him back he moved his hands and drew her panties down until they fell around her ankles. And then she felt him inside of her...
