An Assassin In The Mansion

Serena had really been hoping that the girl would take the opportunity Serena had given her to change her life, but she soon realized that the girl wasn't going to take it. Serena started to prepare another energy orb, but before she could disarm the girl she saw her eyes become blank and she dropped the knife.

Serena sighed and shook her head at Charles. "I've heard enough about Natalya's life. I don't think I could stand to hear about her's too. What are we going to do with her now? Hand her over to SHIELD?"

“Don’t worry about her Serena, but I think it’s time I Shared something with you...and you might want to sit down,” he said. Gambit felt a little odd with the girl
Just standing there but he guessed it would be alright. “Serena, is it your wish for Gambit to remain or shall I speak to you and you share what you want to him?” He asked.

Serena had almost completely forgotten that Charles had told her that there was something he wished to share with her regarding what had happened when she had touched Jean's hand. She glanced nervously at Gambit.

"No, I want him to remain here," she said as she sat down in a seat across from Charles.
