A Fairytale Proposal (May 2015)

Peter felt his comm badge and knew what the vibration meant. “Shit!” He exclaimed and got up quick. He moved to the dresser and began to get dressed.

Tony, Isabella and Serena flew out in their suits. Natalya and Kate piloted the jet with the rest. Juggernaut had just escaped from the maximum security prison and he had begun to destroy Times Square. He saw them coming and laughed. He was going to make them all pay for putting him in there.

Juggernaut picked up a small car and tossed it up into the air. “Ok I’m going!” Peter said suddenly and hopped out of the jet. He webbed a telephone pole swing over and webbed the car before it crashed down on a crowd of people. He levered it with another web then slowly lowered it back down. The others hopped out too then Natalya moved to a cleared out parking lot to land.

Natalya found a place to land the jet. The team disembarked and Kate and Steve moved to start protecting the bystanders and get them to safety. Serena got a good shot and hit Juggernaut with an energy beam. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Peter. They both looked out for each other and she wanted to be sure he was alright.

Juggernaut held up a hand and shaded himself from the blast. It was as if it had done nothing to him. “I really hate this guy!” Logan said as he bounded toward the large man. Peter webbed him in the face and the Juggernaut stopped to remove the webs. Tony and Isabella double tag teamed him with rockets and a repulsive blast. It knocked him off of his feet but he got right back up.

“I’m gonna break your bones Tony Stark!” The juggernaut yelled! And leaped for him. Tony flew up out of his reach but he crashed through and trampled Logan. “Ahhh..grerrr!!!” Logan growled as he was trampled.

Finally Steve and Kate were there and Kate fires several Tranq darts as Steve confronted him. Juggernaut smiled and charged into Steve. Steve’s shield knocked them both backward from the impact and a cloud of force and dust flew up into the air. Serena and Isabella continue to Harry Juggernaut with blasts and Serena used her cold beam to freeze his legs into place.

Peter looked at Serena flying around in her glorious suit as Tony barked orders. Natalya finally got Logan back onto his feet.

“So you say you don’t need a fancy proposal. What If I asked you, right frickin now?!” Peter said over the comms as he webbed juggernauts face and arms.

Serena heard what Peter said. Was he really still angry about this? She then blinked a little. Was he actually going to propose to her here, in the middle of this battle with the Juggernaut?

Natalya was tired of all of this. “Just do it! Get this over with.”

Serena managed to get close to Peter. She retracted her face mask and looked at him. “I think I would be so happy if you proposed now.”

Just as Peter pulled out the box the Juggernaut barreled toward them. Everyone tried to stop him but at the last moment Peter and Serena saw him. Peter webbed his legs while Serena blaster him in the face. He flew backward into a parked car with a crash. Peter got down onto one knee and opened the box. The ring that Serena picked out herself...in another timeline glittered in the sunlight. Peter took off his mask.

“Serena Stark, would you honor me in being my wife. To love and cherish until the end of time?” Peter asked.

Serena’s eyes filled with tears when she saw the ring. It was finally happening and everything was just...perfect. She looked down at Peter and smiled. He would know just how happy she truly was. She loved Peter completely and couldn’t imagine her life with any other man.

“Yes. Nothing would make me happier.”

“We’re all tickled pink about your engagement Aerena but is this really the time!” Logan growled as he jumped onto Juggernauts back. He began slashing at the back of the man’s helmet. Juggernaut tried to grab him off but Logan shifted away from his hands. He busted the bolts in the back and the sides but He couldn’t reach the front. When he tried juggernaut got a hole of him and threw him at Isabella.

Steve came up and shield asked at the bolts in front and both Natalya and Late began to shoot at them. Peter blondes juggernaut whenever he could and Serena froze his legs when she had an opportunity. As Tony blasted him in the neck juggernauts helmet popped off. Steve threw his shield and hit him in the aide of the head hard. Then Tony and Serena both blasted him with repulsive beams in the face. Juggernaut fell unconscious to the onslaught.

As soon as the Juggernaut was down Serena rushed over to Peter and threw her arms around his neck and kissed him deeply. She didn’t even notice what was happening around them. All she saw was Peter. She was completely happy and excited about their future together.

They all headed back to the Tower and Tony opened up a very expensive bottle of Champagne. Toasts were given for the happy couple and Serena found she couldn’t stop smiling.

Peter was on cloud nine. It was done and Serena was now his fiancee. He and Serena had lunch with Aunt May the following day and told her of their engagement. She was thrilled by the news and hugged Serena several times. Peter couldn’t believe everything was working out the way he had hoped it would. The arcbot was nearly ready and now he and Serena could plan their wedding. He wanted it to be a grand affair though he had no doubt it would be. She was a Stark after all and there would be no expense spared for the wedding of their only daughter.

That night while Serena sat on the edge of their bed putting cream on her arms Peter knelt behind her and put his arms around her

“You make me the happiest man in the world Serena, again. And I cant wait for us to start a family,” he said softly into her ear.

Serena's mind was already running with ideas for the wedding and her parents were already planning their engagement party. It would be held in the Tower and would be a momentous affair. Telling Aunt May was exciting for Serena. She loved May and enjoyed spending time with her. Soon, they would all be family.

That night, as Serena was rubbing cream on her arms, she felt Peter kneel behind her and wrap his arms around her. She smiled up at him when he mentioned starting a family. "I can't wait for that either, but perhaps we should finish the arcbot first. I mean, it is kinda like our first child."

“It doesn’t mean we can’t practice, does it?” He asked as he kissed her cheek softly. He put his hands on her shoulders then shifted them to her breasts. Serena had very nice breasts and it always made him blush when he looked at her body and she watched him looking. She was looking up at him as he fondled her and she smiled at him. He kissed her and he felt her kiss him back as encouragement for him to continue. And so he did.

A considerable amount or time later Serena laid comfortably in his arms. Their faces were close together and every once in a while their lips would touch. “I...I could make the Arcbot happen for us a lot sooner than you think Serena. A lot sooner,” Peter said. He loved the feel of her naked flesh up against him. And she was warm, very warm and it comforted him her being there.

Serena grinned at Peter when he pointed out that they could at least "practice." She very much approved of that idea. They did some "practicing" that night and afterwards she lay in his arms. They were facing each other on their sides and there was a feeling of bliss between them. Serena looked at Peter when he told her he could make the Arcbot happen a lot sooner for them. He very much had her attention now.

"How?"

“Because I’ve built them before. The neutronic matrix, it can be reduced in size by a factor of point zero zero zero three if we change the primary conductor from palladium to vibranium. I know it hasn’t been invented yet but...it has by your father,” he said as he kissed her softly on her cheek. He rubbed her back and shifted his hand down to her butt and then the back of her thigh then brought it back up to her bottom.

Serena listened to Peter and blinked when he mentioned something called the neutronic matrix. She had never heard of it, but Peter claimed it had been invented by her father. She felt Peter's hand on her body, but she was no longer thinking about sex. She wanted to know more about this. She knew he must be talking about the other timeline. She was growing more and more excited about the possibility of finally finishing the Arcbot.

"So, how long would it take to build this neutronic matrix? Are the materials even available?"

“The Vibranium isn’t but I know how to create it,” Peter said. “I know we agreed not to use what I know from the other timeline but I say we complete the Arcbot. Small Batches at first. And then we’ll lock in their matrixes so they can’t be reprogrammed. So if people steal them they won’t be able to reverse engineer them,” he said.

For most people being intimate like they were would be too distracting but Peter and Serena often talked shop in bed.

“We get them started and then you and I can move on to the application stage,” he said.

Serena looked at Peter. "There is no way in this not to use the information you already know. It's impossible. I say we just embrace it and build the Arcbot. I can't believe that we are finally going to build it. I know you've already seen it, but I haven't and I can't wait. So, what can I do to help?"

“Well, now that you asked. You can help me monitor production and plan our wedding,” Peter said as he leaned on and kissed her neck. “I know we talked about waiting to have children but I’m not sure I want to anymore,” Peter said.

Serena moaned softly as Peter kissed her neck. Peter knew exactly where to touch her to turn her on. She pulled back slightly though when she heard what he said. She looked up into his eyes and gently placed a hand on his cheek. “We have our wedding to focus on and the arcbot to complete. I want children too, but let’s just wait a little while longer. I don’t think I can plan a wedding, finish our project and go through a pregnancy.”

Peter shifted them so he was on top of her. He moved down so he had access to her breasts. As he began to kiss and suck on them he continued.

“You can do anything Serena. I know, I’ve seen it but I can wait as long as you can,” he said as he continued. “Put your arms up, I want to pleasure my fiancée right now,” Peter said on a whisper. When she complied he moved down even further.
