An Old Flame (June 2012)

Serena was trying to force herself to do this, but she just couldn't. If Belor made her then she would just lie there and not be an active participant. She was already trying to force her mind to go somewhere else. She was trying to convince herself that Gambit wouldn't hate her and breakup with her over this. Why was this happening to her? She had done nothing to deserve this. Yes, she had killed those two men, but that had been in self defense. She was not tied up in any way to anything that was happening apart from her relationship with Gambit.

Suddenly, Belor shoved her hand away and forced her to look up at him. She didn't say anything in response to what he said. She just quickly left and went back to her room. Once there she closed the door and locked it and sank down onto the floor and began to cry.
