The Lagoon

The sand was cool under their feet and he bent to take off her sandals. He held them for her as they walked away from the fire and the pavilion and moved past the huts. The moon loomed large and pale above them as he continued to hold her hand. He hadn’t said anything but he wanted her to know how he felt about her. Sometimes he felt just showing a woman how a man felt was best. Sometimes. He helped her up a few of the larger rocks then down they climbed into a cove of sorts. No, not a cove, a lagoon of still, fresh mineral water. There was a waterfall that dumped water down the rockface on the other side and a pale sandy beach fringed the near side just beyond where they came down. There was foliage too, green plants with large, pale flowers that glowed almost incandescent in the moonlight. The thing that was amazing was how the water picked up the light of the moon and reflected it back. It gave the whole area a glow that made it seem as if they strayed into some, secret mystical place. He smiled when he took in her eyes as she looked at it. “I’m glad you like it,” he whispered in a very smoky voice. Silas didn’t know what he was doing he only knew why. And the why was that Emma had managed to burn into his heart and seer herself into his soul. He was mad with want for her, her beauty and her scent made him feel dizzy and his stomach filled with butterflies at how close she was to him right then. He swallowed trying to keep his calm then tilted his head as he looked at the water.

“How bout a swim?” He asked and felt his cheeks bloom with color at the implication of his words.

Silas' hand felt good in her own. It was strong and just feeling him touch her made her feel as if he truly cared about her...or perhaps loved her. She felt safe near Silas and as though nothing bad could ever happen to her again. He had brought the kind of romance she had only read about in novels to her life and she never wanted it to end. She somehow seemed to know in those moments as they walked together that she would not be leaving him. Without fully realizing it, he had stolen her heart and had made her feel loved again...and she loved him as well.

Together, they climbed up over some rocks and then down and Emma began to wonder where they were going. Suddenly, she saw it though. Secluded away from the rest of the world was the most beautiful place she had ever seen. It was a small lagoon. The moon was reflected off the surface of the water giving the water a silvery glow. A waterfall spilled water down onto some rocks, but there was also a small, sandy beach. Emma was completely entranced and just stared at the lagoon for a while before suddenly hearing smoky voice. She looked over at him and her eyes met his and he would know in that moment that he had her forever.

How bout a swim?

Emma looked at him and was quiet a long moment before responding.

"I would like that...Angus."

That name no longer existed in his world. He had left it behind him, so long ago. Had she known what he did? Killed his own father...Without saying a word he moved up to her then slowly extended his arms out to take her into them. He felt her warm breath on his face and her chest heaved as if her heart was pounding hard like he knew his was. He lightly touched her cheek with his fingers then shifted to cup her neck with his hand then pulled her into his kiss. At first he knew her arms were limp at her sides but she drew them up onto his forearms and then they snaked up and went around his neck as he felt her kiss him back.

Emma’s lips were so soft and warm and perfect. Her eyes were sparkling in the dim moonlight and she brought her hands up to cup his face as she kissed him more deeply the second time. He exhaled his breath into her mouth and the coy smiles disappeared and the seriousness of what was coming came over them. The world could end right then and Silas would have been fine with it right then as he lowered his hands to her waist and kissed her again. The adrenaline of what was happening made him hold onto her as his lips sought out hers with his eyes closed. He tasted her tongue with his and drew hers into his mouth. He felt her hands shift down to reach into his shirt and touch his chest and stomach. He shivered and then he felt her lips curl into another smile. What could he say now that would change anything or make any difference. His whole world was uncertain now as he felt his hands go to unclasp her belt. “Take off my shirt please,” he whispered and felt her warm breath again on his lips.

Emma held her breath, wondering what he would do or say. Her eye remained locked onto his as he slowly moved closer to her and then extended his arms out. She felt herself being brought into an embrace. She felt herself beginning to tremble, but somehow it comforted her to feel his heart beating as hard as hers was. She felt his fingers brush against her cheek and then they shifted to cup around her neck. Knowing what was about to happen she slowly closed her eyes. When his lips finally touched her own they felt just as she had imagined they would. They were soft and yet strong at the same time. Slowly, she drew her arms up around his neck and she kissed him back. Their kisses were gentle at first, but as they continued they became deeper and much more passionate. They both knew what was going to happen...what they both wanted to happen and Emma no longer felt nervous. Everything about being with him felt right. She would no longer deny her feelings or hide them. She loved him and nothing would change that.

As she touched his chest she felt his hands go to unclasp her belt. Slowly, he pulled back from the kiss, but his face remained close to hers. At his command she felt a little smile tug at the corner of her lips. "Yes, my Captain," she whispered back to him. She gently grasped his shirt and, while looking deeply into his eyes, pulled it up over his head. She let it drop from her hands to the ground beside her.

Her belt came off easily which allowed the smock to be loose and not so clingy on her shape. Silas worked his boots off with his feet then kicked them aside then stepped up to Emma once more. She was looking at him and her eyes still had that glow in them that his must have toward her because she reached out and touched his stomach again and then he felt her fingers work on the buttons of his pants. Her smock had a simple tie in the back and once it was undone it fell away smoothly down to her feet. Silas kept his eyes on her eyes for a few moments until he had to step out of his pants. When he hunched to get out of them he took in her shape and he inhaled her scent again as he straightened. He saw her looking at him too but her expression never changed. Desire was white hot in her eyes and he felt that the water was the only thing that was going to cool them off lest they had at one another right then on the beach.

He reached out for her hand and she clasped his, fishing her fingers in between his fingers which made him close his eyes briefly to calm himself. He was hard he knew he’d not be a man if he wasn’t seeing and feeling what he was. Emma was perfection made flesh to his eyes and he swallowed hard as they moved down the beach to wade in the cool water. “I’m a better swimmer...now,” he said trying to keep his eyes from looking at her body. It was not easy! The water was cool and he was thankful of it when they moved deeper and deeper then began to swim. He swam on his back and watched her swim a new way arm over arm. He tried to imitate it but he didn’t quite get it and he smiled when she laughed at his attempts. The glow in the water made it easy to see themselves even submerged. As they leaned back to slick back their hair they came together again and she looked down into the water at his body and he did the same to hers. “Not...what you expected?” he asked. He wasn’t small down there by any means and he saw how hard her nipples were from the water. He broke his composure right then. "You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen Emma," he said honestly as he looked at her breasts under the water. He was thankful for it too, the water, the Lagoon. Somehow this time, this seeing one another like this was going to exist for them both as a special time he knew. he guessed he might very well be the only other man besides her husband that...and then he noticed she no longer wore her rings. Her hand was missing them and he smiled at her in understanding.

Emma felt desire building up inside of her as they continued to remove one another's clothes. Emma normally would have been embarrassed to be standing there naked before a man, but Silas was different. She wanted him to look at her...just as much as she wanted to look at him. She wanted Silas badly. She knew that he was going to make love to her far differently than Nathan had. She wanted to know what pleasure would feel like for her. She had yet to experience it, and something told her that Silas was not a selfish man in that regard.

As he took her hand she laced her fingers through his. She was having a difficult time keeping her eyes from continuing to look at him. Her face burned with desire and the cool water made her skin prickle for a moment. She stepped into the water and grinned at him when he said he was a better swimmer now. "We'll have to see about that," she responded before moving away from him. She glided through the water easily, her body making barely a sound. She laughed when he tried to imitate her, but couldn't quite get it. She continued to look over at him. His body was muscular and tanned. There were several battle scars, but she only thought that made him even more handsome. Slowly, they came back together and she glanced down at him again before grinning slightly at his question. She wrapped her arms around his neck and whispered into his ear.

"No...you are so much more."

He held her or her him, he couldn’t tell and he swung her left then right and in circles in the cool water. She smiled and laughed and he did too. He was stretching the moment out for as long as he could not wanting it to end. They kissed and held one another, swam, talked and held one another again. He had her in his arms as he exited the water with her. He set her down near their clothes then showed her how to use the sand to dry off. He used it on her, gently rubbing it on until her skin was dry and it fell off then she did the same to him and smiled when her hands lingered in certain places upon his body. He kissed her as they sat next to one another, the sound of the waterfall hitting the water was dwarfed by their heartbeats that thundered loudly in their heads. He kissed her lips then her neck and jawline. He laid them back and felt her shiver when his tongue found her left breast and nipple. He took his time, kissing and licking and loving her body. Her breasts were full and firm and wonderful to touch. He alternated between them and began to move lower down her body though it was clear she wanted to touch him too.

He felt that though she was not a muscled woman, she wasn’t soft either. Her stomach felt tight and he felt her skin prickle when his tongue drew across a piece of flesh that was sensitive or ticklish. When he reached her abdomen he used his hands to gently shift her legs apart. He felt her stiffen at first when he drew his tongue across the soft flesh of her middle and then relax when his tongue entered her opening.

For Silas this is what making love to a woman was and he didn’t have many women he cared for. The ones that cared for him taught him what they wanted and so here he was hoping to pleasure the woman he wanted in every way his body knew how to. He gently pierced her with his fingers too as his tongue continued to work and seek out the small spot at the top where her pink folds of flesh met. He felt the tiny bump several times with his tongue and when he sucked there he drew it out enough so that it was exposed for his tongue to pleasure her how he wanted. He felt her getting so wet. So much so his fingers made noise when they moved in and out of her. She had folded her legs up and he felt her hand in his hair as she jerked and shivered as he flailed her spot with his tongue. He needed to feel her orgasm. Needed to taste it, feel it fill his mouth and ignite his soul.

For Emma the feeling was unlike anything she had ever experienced before. His hands, his lips, his tongue it was enough to drive her wild. He set her body on fire and the feelings that ran through her were overwhelming. Nathan had never made her feel this way. He hadn't even come close. Silas knew what he was doing and knew exactly where to touch her to make her feel incredible. She wanted to cry and scream at the same time. Her toes curled in the sand and she moaned. Her breathing was shallow and becoming quicker. There was one spot in particular that Silas flicked with his tongue and would suck on and she grasped his hair, not wanting him to stop. She suddenly felt as if she wanted...no needed something to happen. She didn't know what it was exactly, but she felt she was going to go mad if it didn't. And then it happened. A wave went through her and she felt her entire body tense up. Her back arched and she yelled out as more wetness flowed from between her legs. Finally, she collapsed back to the ground, breathing as though she had been running for her life.

God he loved her taste and there was ‘alot’ to taste. His throat worked convulsively to get what came into it. “Mmm, ohh, mmm,” he said as he gave her middle one, last kiss before raising up to her tummy then breasts. He wiped his mouth off as he kissed her nipples again, his hardness against her thigh. “I’m glad you liked that Emma,” he whispered in her ear and he felt her chest heaving as if she had been running. He was tentative at first but then he slid himself all the way in and he felt her tense and relax, tense and relax with his motions. He didn’t move very fast, he really didn’t need too he was so ready for her and this moment had built up so much in his head and heart he could already feel the pressure swelling him up inside of her. To his surprise when he tried to pull back she latched onto him, her legs shifting behind his thighs, her arms unwilling to let him get away. She aeemed to like what he was doing and he knew he liked it so he continued. Her gasps melded with his as he pushed in and then out. In and then out. “Oh...Emma...mmmm, mmm” he groaned and his hot seed exploded into her middle.

Afterwards, Emma just lay there enveloped in her lover's arms. Neither one of them and yet spoken. Their bodies were still warm and damp and Emma's heartbeat was slowly returning to normal. Now that it was over her mind was finally able to comprehend what had just happened. Nothing could have prepared her for it and knowing that Silas truly cared for her made it that much more special.

"Until tonight I didn't think I was capable of experiencing what I did. Nathan never tried. He just took what he needed from me and that was it. I knew from the very beginning that something was wrong with our marriage. Everything happened so fast and I couldn't understand why he was wanting to marry me when he would have to also support my father and get him out of debt. But now I know he was only using me in his scheme. He never loved me...or probably even cared about me. But if I hadn't married him you wouldn't have come back into my life. Please...don't send me back to him. I...I love you Silas...I want to remain with you."

He kissed her temple as he listened to her words. Emma was getting a raw deal and though he hadn’t said anything he was certain her father was in danger as well. To be used like that, to be a pawn for some financial gain was beyond reproach. Especially someone as wonderful as Emma was. “I won’t let you go Emma, I don’t want to, not now, not ever. He doesn’t deserve you,” Silas said. “And I love you,” he added. A bit late he knew but that was how he felt. And he hadn’t thought about the future either. What was going to happen, what they’d do. She couldn’t even get her marriage annulled. That was only allowed for the husband. “What do you want, Emma?” he asked softly.

ooc-both. at this point his death benefits them. he is a major threat. what does she want from silas? what does she want to do with her life?

Hearing Silas tell her he loved her meant everything to Emma. Hearing those words warmed her heart and she knew that he meant them. Tonight her entire life had completely changed and she knew it would never be the same again. She would follow Silas to the ends of the earth and back. He was hers and she was his and she would never allow herself to be parted from him. His question gave her pause and she considered it for a moment before responding softly.

"I want to remain with you on your ship. I want to learn as much as I can about the ship in order to help you. I don't know how to read maps or fire a pistol...well at least very well," she added with a little smile as she thought about the night Silas had taken her from the resort. She had shot one of his men in the foot by accident. Her smile slowly faded as she thought about the thing she now truly wanted. "I don't want to be married to my husband anymore...but I don't see how that is possible."

The first thing that came to Silas’s mind was killing the Duke. But that was not an idle thing to consider. He had a bloody army and was a noble to boot. People didn’t go around killing nobles for any reason. But for Emma...For Emma he’d do anything regardless if she approved of it or not. He touched her cheek and softly kissed her jaw as they laid there together. The waterfall was so beautiful and having her next to him right then, he couldn’t imagine anything better than right now.

“I can teach you those things Emma,” he said. “I will teach you if that is your wish,” He said. To have her by his side...he could think of nothing sweeter then that. Not as his prisoner or servant, as his companion and someone the men respected. He drew his finger over her left nipple and giggled when she shooed his hand away. He loved her breasts he decided and brought his hand back and shook her left one and growled playfully.

“I could kill him,” he said in between kisses right on her nipple as if he were mentioning something mundane that needed doing. And it was clear who the ‘him’ was that he was talking about killing.

As Silas began to kiss and touch her again, Emma's eyes slowly closed as she felt desire slowly starting to build back up. She could have stayed here all night with Silas and been perfectly content. For the moment nothing else in the world mattered to her. She was a woman in love and the feeling was wonderful.

However, when Silas mentioned killing Nathan she felt a seriousness come over her. She knew that Silas would do it without a second thought, but she couldn't allow him to do that. She stopped him from what he was doing so she could look him in the eyes.

"You cannot do that Silas. His death would not be something that would just be overlooked. They would hunt you down and kill you...your crew. Please, let's just find him and talk to him. We can let him know that we know what he's done and tell him to sign an annulment. Then we can be free of him and begin our lives together."

Silas broke eye contact, god was she beautiful, then huffed and sat up abruptly. He bent his knees and held them to his chest as he tried to think about what she had just said. An annulment...an annulment he repeated over and over in his head. But that...no, The DUke...any Duke would never allow such a thing. If they tried to make him sign it he’d only say he was forced and they’d have them all on them anyway. He leaned over and kissed her arm that went out to him then looked up into her eyes. So blue, so worried. He didn’t like to see her worried.

“You know he’d never let you leave and if we forced him he’d be after us anyway. Emma...We either have to kill him or cease to exist ourselves,” he said. That last part just came out unbidden but, as he thought about it. It made perfect sense. “I...I could...Silas Mormont is not real. He could disappear just as fast as he was made. And people see what they expect to see,” he told her as his eyes took on that far away look as if he was strategizing as they speak. He wanted to make love to her again but he was being drawn into thinking about how they could be together.

His long, blonde hair hung damply down his back and it had alot of sand in it too. He was quite tan from the waist up and he leaned his chin down onto his knees wondering if he could do that. If he was prepared to give it all up to be with her. To be able to stay with her.

Emma sighed and sat up as well. She hadn't meant to upset Silas about this. She ultimately knew that he was right. Nathan would never sign anything and if they forced him to he would just say that he had been coerced. She looked at Silas when he spoke about them 'ceasing to exist'. It was an intriguing thought. Emma and Silas could just 'disappear'. But she knew that that as well would not work. Slowly, she reached out and took one of his hands into her own. She laced her fingers through his and looked at him.

"It doesn't matter to me how we remain together, only that we do," she told him honestly. "Do we really need to be legally married? I would be just as happy 'marrying' you in a ceremony of our own. It would mean something to us and that's all that matters to me in the end. I am never planning to go back to Nathan so let us just be together in our own way."

Her words did make alot of sense. “No...but...but I want the whole world to know that I love you Emma...maybe...maybe we could do a ceremony here. Stone is a Captain. It might not be ‘legal’ but the Duke didn’t marry you for you, for your love, or beauty or strength or intelligence. His vows were false and so were yours because you didn’t love him. So you signed a paper, you didn’t mean those vows in your heart and that makes all the difference in every way that really matters. We’ve lost so much in this world. And gained so much,” he said as he held her face in his hand. “I can’t promise you much save for that I am going to try,” he said and held her in his gaze. His eyes were so blue and they desired and adored her.

Emma couldn't help but smile at Silas. She looked truly happy and felt truly happy for the first time in a long time. It was true that they could not be legally married, but what did it matter in the end? She did not love the Duke and he did not love her. It had been a false marriage in many ways, but she wasn't going to let the fact that in the eyes of the law she was married to him stop her from being with Silas. She looked deeply into his eyes and a few tears filled her own.

"I love you so much Silas," she told him before kissing him deeply.

Before the words were out of his mouth he knew he had made a mistake. "Show me how much," he said and before he could react she leaped on him like a spider monkey, laughing at his surprised look. They made love to one another, long into the night.
