He smiled and he held her hand gently, the memory of her kisses still made it difficult for him to even think right then. “And I meant what I said. I have been yours for a very long time. Only now do I realize that it was important for you to feel and hear it. Well, if my lips do not convince you...I am in love with you Calista. For as long as I can remember has it been so even though I did not always show it. Distance and absence will not change that nor the thunder in my heart when you are near me,” he said as he pressed her palm just inside his shirt up to his very warm and smooth chest. His heart did beat like the thunder as it rolled over the green hills just beyond their white city. “If you require more convincing...I fear that I may do something to insult both our honors. And I would not wish to soil a dream such as that I have had so often my love,” he said hoping she understood him. He had dreamed of making love to her many times. He had gone out with other women, kissed them as well as as much as they would allow but always there was something missing. A disconnect that made him always think of her. And somehow those women knew it to. That or they knew Calista and she would likely thump them for doing such with him. Eldarion had always found that endearing about her. Moreso now though he knew violence was the furthest thing from her mind right then.

Calista felt tears fill her eyes again and this time she could not fight them. They flowed from her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. As he took her hand and pressed it against his chest she closed her eyes and savored the feel of it. She could feel his heart thumping against her hand. His skin felt warm and smooth and just as she had imagined. She opened her eyes to look back into his. She felt as if she were dreaming. She hoped that if she was that she would never awaken. She had never felt happiness like this before and she vowed to make him as happy as she was then.

"What would make you happiest Eldarion? Would you like to leave the city for a time or remain here and ignore the pressure from our parents to become betrothed and marry for now?"

Eldarion hadn’t really thought of this much but how he felt right now he doubted he could wait a full year. The way her hand felt upon him he doubted he could wait another minute. He began to rationalize about if it mattered if they were married or not. They could travel as husband and wife or not but if not than he could not ‘be’ with her. And he wanted to honor her for her patience and her beauty and for putting up with him all these years.

It was her own fault. He got his head so intoxicated with her scent and his body wanted hers ‘badly’. He leaned in toward her and whispered.

“What would make me happy would be for you to marry me as soon as it is possible,” he whispered then lightly kissed her earlobe.

Calista just stared at Eldarion in shock as she tried to figure out if he was serious or not. However, looking at him she could tell he was very serious. Still in shock she started to smile.

"How soon?"

Eldarion smiled as he shifted then reached to lift her up onto his lap. “As soon as you can plan it and to have it as you want it to be. My sisters and my mother would be at your disposal and considering that I am involved in this...event, as to where it can be held,” he said with a very wide grin on his face. It would be a royal affair for the Prince of Gondor and his wife to be.

Although we shouldn't forget about Aviana and Cole and the baby because she was within days of giving birth

OOC: Alrighty, I'll give this some thought and I don't mind jumping around a bit, it feels like a sort of soap opera and not in a bad way. But we could also add in another group or person(s) also depending on what you wanted to do. Narisa? or another? Did you want to do anything with them? If so we should get that going first and tie the timeline to them all so we have consistency amongst them all.

I was thinking about holding off on Narisa for now. For right now we might have enough with the baby and the wedding because Nauriel was also going to put on a disguise to go see her first grandchild

ooc: oh yes, I did not forget about that. Then this is what the timeline should reflect. Because the wedding will take time to plan and to gather all the supplies for the after feast and invitations etc, we can infer that it will take a few months, long enough for Nauriel to go to Gehenna. Elessar will have to stay ofcourse. So that is what I will go with for now.
