A Dangerous Secret

Calista was glad that Eldarion seemed understanding. It made her love him even more. She looked at him when he asked for a kiss. She smiled a little at him.

"Of course."

She then leaned forward and gave him a semi-deep kiss. After a long moment she pulled back and then picked up his hand and gently kissed his knuckles. She looked up into his eyes. "I love you so much."

He tried to stifle a wince when she kissed his knuckles and smiled proudly when she told him that she loved him. She was going to be his lovely wife and they would travel together, maybe even retrace the path that his father had once traveled.

"Just remember that when its raining cats and dogs, our bedrolls are soaked and we have nothing to eat but cold, dried meat and flatbread," he said as he smiled back at her. "Father says that people seem to make traveling out to be far more romantic than it really is," he said as he kissed her cheek lightly. "But...for you i will do my best to make it as romantic as possible," he told her softly. "For I love you back," he added.
